Our Mission
To provide information to those interested in preventing suicide. We will provide training in suicide prevention, work towards a compassionate understanding of the unique needs of survivors, and share our knowledge with our communities.
Our Goals
- Provide support, education, training, and advocacy for the prevention of suicide.
- Establish a coalition of individuals and organizations in Alaska that promote suicide prevention.
- Provide information, suggestions, and recommendations to the Alaska Statewide Suicide Prevention Council (SSPC).
- Encourage the preparation and implementation of community based suicide prevention plans around Alaska, developed according to the Alaska Suicide Prevention Plan.
